One of the benefits of homeschooling is being able to get help when you're dealing with a subject that's over your head or on a subject that "just isn't your forte." The benefit of being in Georgia is students in middle school and high school can sign up for Georgia Virtual (GAVS) classes. If you enroll in one in enough time, the state pays for it! That's EXTREMELY helpful!
One of the things I don't like about blogs is TOO MUCH information, so I'll keep it short and sweet. My son's language arts GAVS class recommended students keep a vocabulary journal with the book they are reading - Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. They have to know the vocabulary words and their definitions, so I thought I'd create something colorful to keep my son's attention. Feel free to use mine for FREE!!
Here's one I created taking some themes from what other people have created and combining them to be my own. Since I like to use Philip Martin's clipart, I'm not charging for the documents. Use them at your convenience. It has 50 pages with 2 vocabulary worksheets per page and is in Google Slides format. Prefer to get a PDF file? Feel free to download a copy from my Google Drive page and download as a PDF. The Google Slides document will automatically save to your Google Drive account and your PDF file to your downloads file on your electronic device. This is for educational purposes only.😉
